Precision before novelty.
If it cannot be rebuilt exactly, it is not finished. Distance, angle, modifiers, settings, and temperature are documented as seriously as the image.

Power, heat, cable logic, failure modes, and graceful degradation are not constraints. They are what make the atmosphere possible.
